Our care is anchored by clinicians with combined fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, wound management, and healthcare administration — delivering surgical decisions grounded in outcomes, not volume.
Dr. Johnson founded Comprehensive Wound Care Services in 2015 and established Capital Surgical Center as its outpatient surgical arm — built to open timely, community-based access for the DC metro’s most complex wound patients. He serves on the board of the Capital Youth Empowerment Program and advocates for limb-preservation access in underserved communities.
Both facilities operate at 2112 F Street NW — two suites in the same building, so patients move between clinic and surgical care without leaving the practice or repeating intake.

Board-certified wound care, advanced dressings, reconstruction, and tele-wound consultations for referring partners across the DC metro.
